ASIN Server Environment

The ASIN servers are maintained at UNB and supported by the UNB Computing Services.

Staffing Issues

• UNB CS staff maintain the systems for an annual fee, including:
  • OS Updating
  • Hardware
• Sirsi provides some support.
  • Sirsi installs and patches application software.
• ASIN staff also provide some support.
  • Mostly customization of the environment by tweaking system files related to the applications.

Cost Issues

• Currently we would be charged $10,000 per annum for server support.
