LoomWare - A Philosophy

Where Does LoomWare Come From?

LoomWare comes from some presentations I made at library conferences a number of years ago and it stands for Library Object Oriented Management. It stems from the days I spent teaching in the Computer program at St.F.X. and suggests the use of object-oriented programming philosophies in the management of libraries.

What Are the Concepts?

The original concepts of LoomWare include:

  • 1
  • 2
  • 3

Related to LoomWare

LoomWare has been adapted as the title of my blog and Wiki. I have continued to try and evolve the original idea behind LoomWare, but have migrated that thinking to what I now call SlowLibrary.
